The bk suffers from 2 insurmountable flaws. Charles’ thesis is not fully developed/explored so the reader can decide whether he/she agrees. Chapters plod along, peppered with cliches & platitudes. Charles failed to identify his target audience. Poorly written, replete with trite truisms & shallow observations, it is too pedestrian for educated professionals, yet fails to provide practical insight, resource materials, or therapeutic exercises that might benefit individuals struggling to find their own independent voice/become empowered in their daily lives. Charles lacks an authentic, authoritative voice. This bk. advances neither his convictions nor his credibility. Can't recommend it. Full review: www dot jhsiess dot com.

Finally, a book has come along that feels like it was penned just for me. I found this concisely written book to be both informative and validating as I absorbed its underlying message of positivity.
7 months agoHonestly, this book is a winner for one main reason! It appeals to both individuals who are already operating with a "think for yourself" attitude, like me, and to those who may find some of this subject matter to be quite new, if not alien, in their day to day lives.
The author has made sure that all of his diverse chapters are filled with a plethora of real life observations. Furthermore, he consistently relates various real world situations which we can all easily relate to. In so doing he has written a much needed book that affects us all. This quick read is definitely worth investigating in my humble opinion!
This book is an informative, witty, to-the-point treatise on how to take control of your life and enjoy it more at the same time.
