Just have to give up on ol' Tristram Shandy. I've watched the mockumentary about making the movie, and I've even read a bit of real literary scholarship on it! (You don't say!) So, I get it, I get it. But when actually reading it, I wasn't getting anything from it, so I just don't think this kind of book works for me. I like what it's trying to say, just can't abide actually reading the thing. Oh well! I tried.
